6 – 9. August 2016 with Pirkko Mäkelä-Haapalinna
The workshop will take place at Alskathemmet, a “Summer Camp House” belonging to the Evangelic Lutheran Parish Union of Vaasa. Alskathemmet is situated in Alskat, 15 minutes by car outside the city of Vasa, right on the edge of the Unicef World Heritage Kvarken Archipelago. Photo to the right from a late August evening near Replot bridge.
This is a link to Alskathemmet’s website where you find more photos from the living area, canteen, sauna area and beach. The place is being renovated right now, so it will be brand new for us in the summer!
We have rooms for around 50 guests, that means everyone can have their own room. We serve all the meals, breakfast and lunch buffet, afternoon coffee and tea, dinner with a glass of wine, and evening snacks.
At walking distance you will find Replot bridge with restaurants and guided boat trips. Learn more at http://www.berny.fi/en/m-s-corina.html
The group has free access to modern facilities, and we can especially recommend taking a steam bath in the Finnish sauna. We also have our own beach, so bring your swim suit!
